I have land. What should I check first?

Check access, utilities, and site preparation before you pick a home or schedule delivery.

Your land checklist

Take photos of the entrance, driveway, turns, and any gates or overhead lines. A delivery crew can use them to discuss access.
Find out where water, power, and sewer or septic would connect. Note what is already there and what still needs a quote.
Have the property address or parcel number handy. Ask who can confirm placement, permits, and site preparation for that property.
