Work backward from your move date

Write down the date you are aiming for and what makes it important, such as a lease ending or a change at work.
Ask what is in stock and what would need to be ordered. Discuss property preparation, delivery, setup, and utilities separately.
Find out what can happen at the same time and which steps depend on each other. Confirm dates before making other commitments.
